Troubled Trains
From the Dummies Guide to Chicago:
Even though the subway is the cheapest and often fastest way downtown, it's not necessarily the safest. As an economy measure, the CTA eliminated conductors from trains, and many believe this compromises safety. Travelers should avoid the subway during quieter times, such as late at night. Rush and daylight hours are safe enough.
I guess trains with operators are safer then, huh? MmHmm.

Jill says it's only dangerous if you jump onto the tracks.
