Things That Just Won't Die

driveway.jpg

Dear Winter,

Please, for the love of God and All That Is Holy, would you stay the hell down on the mat?! Pretty, pretty please? With fresh-flowing maple sap on top? I mean, you do realize you're losing the battle, yes? April's coming, tag-team style, to send your sorry butt up North. Can't you just be gracious, take your white flag, and leave, um, now-ish?

Thank you forever and ever, until next winter, which hopefully won't matter because I'll be somewhere more temperate. [Dear Midwest, we're going to need to start talking about *your* winter.]

Love,
Sean

EDIT: Yeah, so there's now like 3 inches of UBER-wet snow on the ground. I so want to have a snowball fight with someone. Please? I know it's almost 3a, but, anyone? Pretty please with map-- wait, I already used that one; um, pretty please with hot cocoa and vegan marshmallows on top?

Stupid breaks. Last Spring Break, I went to Oregon, and it was bloody nice here, this winter I went to Oregon, and it was bloody blizzardly there, and this Spring Break, well, I'm just getting screwed from all around. Luckily, I have hardy happiness in my humble hands. (But that's a story for tomorrow.)

I took some pictures outside of my church today. They're not as nice as they should be (I need to just break and get a f*cking CF card so I stop turning down the quality to get more than twenty pictures), but they might do for now. You sound like you need them.

*Inarticulate excitment*

*Some squealing, too*

It's so pretty and green and warm-looking there. *Le sigh*

(Menawhile, I'm still waiting for my street to be plowed.)

[Also, I stole your images, and put them up on my server, because it's faster and not plagued by quota issues.]

It actually looks greener than that in a lot of places. Not to brag or ... well, heh; yeah, to brag...

In addition, the only quota stuff that Marlboro has is space, not bandwidth. However, I'm all for fast. So yes. I can give you the big versions too if you'd like, you know.

ARG #*&%(&&#!

Where was I? Right, drinking away the evening, pretending that it's not snowing AGAIN! ARG *#&(#&%(%!

OH! And if you emailed me large pictures, that would make me very much happy. And then I could print them out, hold them up to the window, and tell the snow to bugger off. Well, if I had a printer that worked. [Um, yes, Sean; that's the biggest problem with the preceeding statement. Now why don't you follow these nice men in white suits...]

(Yes, I only mentioned the quota thing because you seen to be perpetually maxed out in regards to the space limitations, whereas I have plenty of space. [My webserver is faster than Marlboro's, too, but that was secondary.])
