Allumni
I met up with a bunch of people from Marlboro last night. It was super cool on several levels, but mostly because I got to reconnect with some of the few people I actually knew and I got to meet some of the other totally awesome people who I went to school with, but somehow managed to avoid, what with the massive student body and all.
Small highlights:
There's a school where you spend half of you time camping around the country? From their about page: "Dorms are replaced by sleeping out under the stars." And it's accredited. Apparently.
"So, did you go to Marlboro? Really. When did you graduate? Really. Huh, I don't remember you. Oh, you weren't around much? Kind of like that guy Jen was dating. Oh, shit, it's you."
"We never met, but I heard your plan was good."
Kickball in Colonel Sanders Park. And Red Light, Green Light. And jump-roping.
So many Marlboro people live in Portland. Including a girl who lived a block away from me for a month.
